How do Death Claims work when a policy is assigned to Inclined?

If the Insured listed on a policy passes away while the policy is still Collaterally Assigned to Inclined, please reach out to our team at support@inclined.com or 1-855-282-0441. If the Benefits Claims process has not yet been started with the Insurance Carrier, we can assist in starting that Claim.

Once a Benefits Claim has been initiated, the Insurance Carrier will prepare documents for all Beneficiaries listed on the policy, as well as documentation that the Assignee will need to complete. Inclined will work directly with the Insurance Carrier to ensure all Assignee documentation is filled out and submitted for processing as quickly as possible.

If there is no drawn iLOC balance associated to the policy in question, the Assignment to the policy will simply be released and benefits will be disbursed to Beneficiaries accordingly. If there is drawn iLOC balance associated to the policy in question, the Insurance Carrier will work with Inclined directly to pay off the remaining balance of the iLOC and continue to disburse remaining policy benefits to the Beneficiaries accordingly.
