How do I find my advisor's contact information?

If you’re interested in applying for an Inclined Line of Credit (iLOC), one of the first steps is identifying the financial advisor who services your life insurance policy. Below, we explain why this is necessary and how you can easily locate your advisor’s information.


Why We Need to Know Your Advisor

Inclined works directly with financial advisors, who confirm policy details and provide documents that are needed when clients apply for an Inclined Line of Credit (iLOC). 


Where to Find Your Advisor's Information

In most cases, your financial advisor’s contact information can be found in two primary places: your policy statements or your online account at your insurance carrier.

  1. Check Your Policy Statement

    Your annual policy statement typically lists the financial advisor or agent who services your policy.

    Look for sections labeled:

    • Servicing Advisor

    • Agent of Record

    • Financial Representative

    • Policy Servicing Contact

    For policies issued by companies such as Northwestern Mutual, Guardian, MassMutual, New York Life, and others the servicing advisor’s name and contact details are normally included directly on the statement.

    These statements are usually mailed annually and may also be available as PDFs in your online account at your insurance carrier.

  2. Log Into Your Online Account with your Insurance Company

    If you have created an online account with your insurance carrier, your advisor’s information is often visible within your account dashboard.

    Common places to look include:

If you’re unsure who your advisor is, or if the advisor you bought your policy from is no longer with the insurance carrier, consider the following methods:

 

Contact Your Insurance Carrier

If you hold a whole life policy with one of Inclined’s partner insurers, you can contact the carrier directly and ask for your current servicing advisor’s information.

You can say something like:
“I’m a current whole life insurance customer with your company but I don’t know who my advisor is. Can you help me find my advisor’s name and email information?”
